Position Type: Full time

Suffolk University Law School in Boston seeks to fill up to three entry-level, tenure-track faculty positions starting in 2027-2028.  Candidates should have strong academic and professional backgrounds and show promise of high achievement in scholarship, teaching, and service. We welcome future colleagues who would contribute to any of our faculty’s broad research perspectives, including quantitative or qualitative empiricism; critical, historical, comparative, or philosophical approaches; and doctrinal or policy analysis. Our search will focus on candidates with a primary interest in Civil Procedure, Property, and/or Torts, but we will also consider a candidate’s potential to contribute to our needs in other areas, including Bankruptcy, Commercial Law, Family Law, Fintech Law, Labor & Employment Law, and our Concentrations.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $145,000.Salary Transparency

Suffolk University provides salary ranges as a good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for a role at the time the position is posted. The actual salary offered to the selected candidate will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, training, and applicable legal requirements. The listed pay range reflects base salary only and does not include additional benefits or compensation.
