Pay: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline engines, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance (brakes, suspension, electrical systems, engines, transmissions, etc.)
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy-duty and/or medium-duty vehicles
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

Experience working on any of the following equipment:

Ford 6.8L v10 gas, Ford 7.3L v8 gas, 6.7L diesel (E-series, F-series)

Chevrolet 6.0L gas, 6.6L gas, 6.6L diesel (Savana, W4500)

Cummins 6.7L, Cummins ISC, Cummins ISM, Cummins ISX (various medium & heavy duty)

Detroit DD13, DD25, S60 (Freightliner Cascadia)

International DT466, MaxxForce DT (4200, 4400)

Isuzu 5.2L diesel (NPR, NRR)

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certifications
• Experience with fleet maintenance
• Welding or fabrication experience (a plus)
