You will be responsible for managing patient support cases, coordinating communication with healthcare stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of case management processes and support programs.
- Manage assigned patient support cases and projects while ensuring adherence to established operational protocols and service standards
- Provide telephone-based support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies regarding reimbursement, access, compliance, and therapy-related inquiries
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls to support patient engagement, continuity of care, and program participation
- Administer case management activities including clinical monitoring, patient follow-up, compliance tracking, therapy interruption monitoring, and adverse event reporting
- Document all interactions and activities accurately within program-specific databases and systems
- Participate in market research initiatives involving physicians, pharmacists, patients, and allied healthcare professionals when required
- Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure smooth case coverage during planned absences and workload transitions
- Support onboarding and training activities for new caseworkers through shadowing and call monitoring
- Maintain compliance with internal processes, documentation standards, and reporting requirements
- Communicate process improvement feedback regarding workflows, systems, and interdepartmental collaboration opportunities
The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a healthcare support environment that requires empathy, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, case management, or a related support role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is considered an asset
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Postsecondary education in business administration, healthcare, customer service, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
