Regional Coordinator – South-Central in Texas (Metropolitan Area), Texas at National Fire Sprinkler Association

The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) is a 120-year-old association and the leading voice of the fire sprinkler industry, dedicated to saving lives and protecting property through fire sprinkler advocacy, technical expertise, and education.

As the Regional Coordinator – South-Central, you will promote the fire sprinkler industry throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana while enhancing the NFSA membership experience. You will support regional chapters, strengthen communication and coordination of member activities, promote NFSA programs and training, and bring the value and resources of NFSA directly to members throughout the region. Your work will directly contribute to NFSA’s mission of protecting lives and property.

The Regional Coordinator – South-Central supports NFSA members and chapters by coordinating member activities, maintaining strong regional communications, supporting membership recruitment and retention, and connecting members with NFSA programs and resources. Teamwork and collaboration are essential because the position works with chapter leaders, members, prospective members, and multiple NFSA departments.

The position works under the supervision of the Regional Manager – South-Central. The position also works closely with the Membership Department and coordinates with other NFSA departments to provide programs, events, training, and member support throughout the assigned region.

· Provide service and support to NFSA chapters throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana by promoting fire sprinklers from homes to high-rises.

· Support chapters in strengthening communication, coordinating member activities, and advancing chapter initiatives, including legislative activities as assigned.

· Meet with current and prospective members at their offices and during chapter meetings, conferences, and other regional events.

· Maintain effective communications with members and prospective members, highlighting the value of NFSA membership and sharing relevant industry information.

· Connect members with NFSA departments, programs, services, training, technical resources, and other available support.

· Document member visits, outreach, prospects, and relevant follow-up information accurately and promptly in NFSA’s customer relationship management system (CRM).

· Work with the Membership Department to help ensure the CRM is fully operational and provides useful data and information across NFSA departments.

· Support the Membership Department with written articles, blog features, member profiles, and stories about projects of interest.

· Coordinate with NFSA’s training and education teams to promote, organize, schedule, support, and evaluate NFSA training seminars and programs throughout the South-Central region.

· Attend conferences as a speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, or NFSA representative when opportunities exist to educate attendees about the value of fire sprinklers or NFSA membership.

· Identify, schedule, and implement opportunities to educate the public, fire service, fire and building code officials, and other regional stakeholders.

· Schedule and support the use of the NFSA side-by-side fire sprinkler demonstration trailer throughout the South-Central region, when applicable.

· Coordinate with NFSA teammates in other departments to provide regional programs and events as required.

· Support the Regional Manager – South-Central in identifying opportunities and developing plans to improve NFSA member and chapter engagement throughout the region.

· Support the NFSA Annual Seminar, Area Conferences, and other association-wide events, including marketing support and onsite content creation as assigned.

· Create engaging monthly email communications by organizing content, writing articles, designing newsletter layouts, and managing distribution to regional members.

· Track assigned activities, deadlines, member follow-up, and regional priorities and provide dependable follow-through.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree with relevant experience in membership organizations, customer relationship management systems, or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with consistent attention to detail and follow-through.

· Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Ability to take initiative and support high-level objectives with limited specific direction.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with NFSA staff, chapter leaders, members, volunteers, and other regional stakeholders.

· Ability to work effectively from a home office and travel extensively 50-75% throughout the South-Central region and nationally as assigned, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.

· Valid driver’s license and ability to meet NFSA travel requirements.

· Residence within Texas (Metropolitan Area) and ability to travel throughout the South-Central region and familiarity with its business or association community.

· Experience working for a membership association, chapter-based organization, nonprofit organization, or member-service operation.

· Experience using CRM software to document relationships, maintain member information, and track prospective members.

· Experience in or exposure to the fire sprinkler, fire protection, construction, fire service, or life-safety industries.

· Experience coordinating training programs, conferences, chapter meetings, or other events.

Remote Position Based in Texas

Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
