The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on measurable impact across complex client portfolios.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and sustain high-value client relationships by providing strategic direction, oversight, and hands-on leadership across multiple complex accounts and teams. Drive account growth, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain strong executive-level engagement across portfolios.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to retain and expand existing clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities, including proposals, bids, extensions, and recompetes.
  • Oversee account performance, including financial management, budgeting, risk mitigation, and operational execution to ensure profitability and sustainability of contracts.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams by recruiting talent, mentoring account leaders, and strengthening organizational capabilities.
  • Partner with internal corporate functions such as finance, legal, contracts, and communications to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing strategies, and industry developments to inform client solutions and business growth strategies.
  • Foster cross-organizational collaboration to enhance innovation, service offerings, and overall organizational impact.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a focus on health-related or mission-driven environments.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex teams and integrated client portfolios.
  • Background in communications firms, government contracting, or government consulting strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting rules, compliance standards, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to client service excellence.
Benefits:
  • Flexible remote work arrangement with periodic in-person collaboration days for team connection and innovation.
  • Opportunity to lead impactful, mission-driven work focused on improving public health and outcomes for underserved populations.
  • Engagement with a multidisciplinary, collaborative team of experts across communications, strategy, and technical domains.
  • Exposure to high-level strategic initiatives, including growth planning, business development, and organizational leadership.
  • Professional development opportunities through coaching, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior leadership responsibilities and part-time (75% appointment) structure.
  • Comprehensive benefits may include healthcare coverage, retirement plans, and other standard organizational perks (based on eligibility).
