Head Packer - 1st Shift in Etna Green, Indiana at Winona Powder Coating Inc

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Head Packer to support all aspects of finished product packing. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and proficient with basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to complete work instructions issued from the job card.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to follow instructions (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Location of process cards/prints
• Paperwork/tag/lot control
• Visual inspection as required.
• Pack as per customer request
• Stretch wrap.
• Use metal and plastic bander.
• Pack per Plex job sheet and or provided visual.
• Follow Winona Quality policy and procedures.
• Maintains acceptable housekeeping in areas of responsibility.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment.

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills required (data entry, navigating software)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift
