This role plays a key part in supporting a modern, technology-driven claims organization by ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient handling of administrative and operational claims processes. You will work closely with multi-line claims adjusters to support claim resolution through data entry, file setup, documentation management, and customer communication. The position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness directly impact service quality. You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts by helping refine workflows, streamline processes, and enhance the overall efficiency of the claims support function. - Set up and organize new claim files by gathering, validating, and entering accurate information from documentation and customer interactions.
- Manage task queues efficiently to ensure claims adjusters receive timely and complete supporting information.
- Handle incoming correspondence, including electronic, physical, and faxed documents, ensuring proper classification and upload into claim systems.
- Assist in preparing standard claim documents, including form letters and closure paperwork.
- Support customer inquiries by providing accurate information about the claims process and assisting with resolution steps where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within internal systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with adjusters and internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance support, claims administration, policy administration, or compliance-related operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in an operational or administrative context.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and other relevant internal platforms.
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly and apply them to improve workflows.
