This is a senior-level opportunity to shape how regulatory compliance is translated into technology strategy and execution across a global organization.
You will serve as a key bridge between Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and business leadership.
The role combines deep regulatory expertise with technical program leadership, operational rigor, and strategic problem-solving.
You will establish frameworks, operating models, and roadmaps that enable teams to manage evolving compliance requirements effectively.
Your work will influence major business priorities, mitigate risk, strengthen certifications, and support continued product innovation.
You will operate in a highly cross-functional, globally distributed environment where ambiguity, complexity, and high-impact decisions are part of the day-to-day.

- Translate strategic compliance priorities into clear visions, technical requirements, executable programs, measurable outcomes, and implementation roadmaps.
- Establish portfolio management frameworks, operating rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and governance practices that improve alignment and decision-making across leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted technology partner to senior executives and business leaders, providing guidance on mission-critical compliance programs, investment priorities, and risk mitigation.
- Build relationships across Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and other functions to anticipate regulatory priorities, identify risks, and maintain required certifications.
- Lead complex, cross-functional regulatory compliance initiatives across globally distributed teams, ensuring programs progress from strategy through implementation and measurable results.
- Evaluate technical investments by balancing engineering effort, financial considerations, risk reduction, and long-term business impact.
- Develop and promote operational best practices that strengthen execution discipline and help engineering leaders and technical program managers effectively address regulatory requirements.
- Improve audit preparation, evidence collection, and compliance management processes to reduce operational effort while maintaining strong standards.
- Identify opportunities for innovative approaches to compliance management and proactively resolve critical issues before they become significant business risks.
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, technical program management, or a closely related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of global regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX, with an understanding of how regulatory requirements intersect with product and business strategy.
- Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs and delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Strong operational mindset, combining strategic thinking with the ability to personally drive execution and resolve challenging issues.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate executive-level discussions, and communicate complex regulatory and technical topics clearly.
- Experience managing programs across globally distributed teams and coordinating stakeholders with different priorities, functions, and areas of expertise.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, develop practical solutions, and introduce innovative approaches to compliance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to establish trust across engineering, business, legal, and compliance leadership.
- Experience with major enterprise transformations, such as large-scale cloud migrations or foundational compliance platform re-architectures, is a strong plus.
- Comfort working in a remote-first environment and willingness to travel occasionally for project, team, or organizational meetings.
- This role is remote within the United States but is not eligible for candidates based in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, or the surrounding areas.
- Competitive base salary: Estimated ranges vary by eligible location:
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington, D.C.: $188,240–$235,000
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California outside the San Francisco Bay Area: $199,280–$249,100
- San Francisco Bay Area, California: $221,360–$276,700
