Job Description

Manager, Global Partner Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Global Partner Marketing based in Switzerland.

As the Manager, Global Partner Marketing, you will build and lead the marketing function that powers a global technology partner ecosystem.
You will shape the strategy, operating model, budget, and programs that enable partners to generate awareness, engagement, and revenue.
The role spans marketing to partners, through partners, and with partners across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
You will own initiatives ranging from partner communications and portal governance to MDF, co-marketing campaigns, events, and sales enablement.
Working closely with senior alliances leaders and cross-functional marketing teams, you will turn ecosystem priorities into measurable pipeline and business impact.
This is a hands-on builder role where you will initially execute directly while establishing the processes, standards, and team needed to scale the function.
It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced partner marketer who combines strategic leadership, operational rigor, and a strong bias toward execution.

Accountabilities
  • Own the global partner marketing function, including strategy, budget, standards, operating model, resourcing, and the team structure required as the partner ecosystem grows.
  • Develop and maintain the annual Global Partner Marketing Plan, defining investment allocation, pipeline targets, priorities, and marketing motions across partner tiers and geographies.
  • Act as the marketing counterpart to senior alliances leadership, helping shape ecosystem go-to-market strategy and leading quarterly planning and reporting.
  • Own measurement of partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, MDF return on investment, partner portal adoption, engagement, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Translate partner program requirements into scalable campaigns and marketing motions that partners can execute independently or jointly with the organization.
  • Manage the partner marketing calendar in alignment with corporate campaigns, product launches, field marketing priorities, and regional market needs.
  • Partner with program and operations leaders to develop joint demand-generation initiatives, manage partner lead flows, and track resulting pipeline.
  • Lead partner-facing communications, ensuring partners remain informed, engaged, and equipped with the resources they need to succeed.
  • Govern and optimize the Partner Portal, maintaining relevant and accessible content across partner tiers and types while driving adoption and engagement.
  • Own partner-facing messaging and content, including web presence, partner value propositions, sales assets, and a comprehensive partner asset library.
  • Manage the global Partner MDF program from design and eligibility through approvals, activity tracking, compliance, and ROI reporting.
  • Develop and execute MDF-funded co-marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness and generate pipeline for both the organization and its partners.
  • Define and execute the partner event strategy across summits, industry events, webinars, roadshows, and partner tracks in collaboration with field marketing, events, and regional teams.
  • Ensure partner activations include effective follow-up strategies that convert engagement into qualified opportunities and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish scalable processes, standards, and operating rhythms that allow partner marketing to grow beyond individual contributors.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in partner, channel, or ecosystem marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, technology, or open-source software environments.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling global partner marketing programs, with measurable results in pipeline generation and ecosystem growth.
  • Leadership experience through managing or mentoring marketers, leading a partner marketing function, or serving as the senior partner marketing leader within an organization.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of partner marketing tools and practices, including PRM platforms, MDF programs, co-marketing budgets, and ROI measurement.
  • Familiarity with core marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Asana, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret pipeline reporting, MDF performance, portal engagement, and other marketing metrics.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, partner executives, internal teams, and regional stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop compelling partner-facing content and messaging for diverse audiences, including business stakeholders and technical or developer communities.
  • Global mindset with a strong understanding of regional differences and market dynamics across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
  • Builder mentality with the ability and enthusiasm to establish strategies, processes, operating models, and eventually teams from the ground up.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic and executional workstreams across time zones.
  • Comfortable working hands-on in an environment where strategic planning and direct execution are both required.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, container technology, cloud-native ecosystems, or related technical markets is a strong advantage.
Benefits:
  • EU compensation of €95,900–€137,000 plus equity.
  • Equity opportunity for full-time employees, providing a stake in the organization’s long-term success.
  • Remote-first working model, with flexibility to work from home.
  • Access to offices in Seattle and Paris for collaboration and connection.
  • Flexible working arrangements designed to support autonomy and work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off, quarterly Whaleness Days, and an end-of-year Whaleness break.
  • Home-office support to help create a comfortable and productive remote workspace.
  • Technology stipend equivalent to US$100 net per month.
  • Annual learning and development stipend for conferences, courses, certifications, and other professional development opportunities.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave after six months of employment.
  • Comprehensive medical, retirement, and paid-holiday benefits, with availability varying by country.
  • Opportunity to work with a globally distributed team and collaborate across multiple regions and markets.
  • Inclusive culture focused on diverse perspectives, continuous learning, accountability, and building better products and experiences.
  • Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
