This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Behavioral Health Coach based in India.
This is a remote, flexible opportunity to provide 1-on-1 behavioral health coaching through a telehealth platform.
You will support clients with sub-clinical challenges such as work stress, procrastination, and work-life balance.
Sessions are primarily 30-minute video consultations tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.
The role combines evidence-based coaching approaches with practical support for personal, professional, and relationship goals.
You will also collaborate with an internal clinical team to help improve programs and the overall client experience.
With flexible business hours, this freelance position can complement an existing role or private practice.
It is an opportunity to expand access to mental health support while working within a collaborative digital care environment.
- Provide individualized 1-on-1 behavioral health or mental health coaching through scheduled telehealth video sessions, adapting your approach to each client’s needs, goals, and circumstances.
- Support clients experiencing sub-clinical challenges such as workplace stress, procrastination, work-life balance concerns, career development, relationship goals, and personal growth.
- Help clients establish realistic personal and professional objectives and guide them toward sustainable behavioral and lifestyle changes.
- Apply appropriate coaching techniques and evidence-based approaches to facilitate self-awareness, motivation, coping strategies, and goal achievement.
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and client-centered experience throughout virtual interactions.
- Collaborate with the internal clinical team by sharing relevant insights, suggesting program enhancements, and contributing ideas to improve the coaching platform and client experience.
- Hold an active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, or a Master’s degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
- ICF Coaches should have at least 200 hours of coaching experience; Counsellors and Clinical Psychologists should have at least 300 clinical hours of experience after graduation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in coaching techniques and/or evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
- Be proficient in English and the relevant local language to communicate effectively with clients.
- Bring strong interpersonal, active listening, empathy, communication, and relationship-building skills suitable for virtual client support.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and maintain professionalism in a remote environment.
- Experience with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), counselling working adults, or coaching managers and other professionals is highly valued.
