Full-Time Temporary Position - 80 hours/pay

Scheurer Health is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in a temporary full-time position in our hospital laundry. The temporary position will last approximately 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Sort, pre-treat, and load hospital linens, uniforms, and other textiles for washing, ensuring proper handling of contaminated or biohazard materials.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and damage, folding and organizing them for distribution to various hospital departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine cleaning of machines and workspaces.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols, to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver license without restrictions
