Position: Children’s Program Assistant, Supply/Casual

Reports to: Program Manager

Department: Program – Healthy Start and Growing Together In Peel (GTIP)

The Children’s Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the staff to deliver programs and services to pregnant women, children (birth – 6) and their caregivers.

• Keep informed by reading agency emails, staff newsletters, agency notices as well as partner notices

• Experience with children an asset
• Emergency First Aid/CPR B or C
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and works well within a team environment
• Ability to work some flexible hours
• Additional language(s) an asset
• Some light lifting required

Salary: $23.00 per hour
