• Work alongside the VA’s on-site representatives, the superintendent, and the safety officer
• Be on site full time while construction is underway
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant PM, QC professional, or in A/E construction administration
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Hands-on experience managing submittals, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews
• Working knowledge of field testing and inspections (concrete, soils, firestopping, MEP systems, commissioning)
• USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification, or the ability to obtain it before starting (we’ll support you)
• Federal or VA project experience is a strong plus
• OSHA 30 certification, or willingness to obtain
• Organized, thorough documentation habits and comfort with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• The confidence to hold subcontractors to the standard while keeping relationships professional and productive
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience
What We Offer
