Job Description

At Dynamic, we believe values are at the core of everything we do. Our values of Dynamic, Developing, Devoted, and Dignity are not just words to us; they represent a way of life. We believe our values impact every aspect of our lives, including the emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical. We are ready to Embrace the Challenge, Redefine what's possible, and Separate from the Ordinary!

Build the team. Set the standard. Own the results.

Dynamic is a rapidly growing home services and energy company where strong leaders take meaningful ownership, make decisions, and build teams that deliver. We move quickly, set ambitious expectations, and give proven performers room to expand their impact.

We’re looking for a Director of Installation Operations with the judgment, drive, and leadership capability to build an operation that performs at scale. You’ll own the team and operating systems that move projects from Install Initiated through Complete, turning complex workflows into consistent, measurable results.

Your organization will include approximately 20 Project Coordinators and the Field Service Operations Managers who drive installation progress, resolve issues, and coordinate with our field organization. You’ll lead through managers, establish clear priorities, and build the accountability needed to keep a high volume of projects moving.

This opportunity is designed for an ambitious leader with the potential to grow into broader executive responsibility as Dynamic scales. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, influence how the business operates, and be accountable for the strength of your team and the results it produces.

This role is based in Dallas, Texas. Candidates outside the area must be willing to relocate; relocation assistance is available.

What You’ll Own

Installation execution and completion

  • Own operational performance from installation initiation through final completion, including installation coordination, inspections, service, corrective work, and closeout.
  • Set clear priorities and drive measurable improvements in throughput, cycle time, project aging, and completion rates.
  • Ensure stalled projects have an accountable owner, a clear next action, and a resolution timeline.
  • Lead escalations with urgency, make decisions within your scope, and bring clear recommendations when executive support is needed.
  • Resolve recurring causes of delays while protecting quality and the customer experience.

Team performance and leadership development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Project Coordinators and Field Service Operations Managers, with clear expectations for decisions, execution, and results.
  • Build managers who can independently run their teams, solve problems, and hold people accountable.
  • Establish daily priorities, weekly performance reviews, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Address performance gaps directly and constructively, recognize strong execution, and raise the standard as the organization grows.
  • Identify and develop future leaders who can take on greater responsibility and strengthen the team’s leadership depth.

Partnership with Field Operations

  • Partner closely with the Director of Field Operations to align project priorities with crew capacity, scheduling, and available resources.
  • Ensure your team coordinates the information, materials, scope clarity, and support field teams need to complete work successfully.
  • Resolve breakdowns between office coordination and field execution, with clear ownership across handoffs.
  • Reduce avoidable repeat visits, incomplete work, and delays caused by poor coordination.
  • Build productive relationships across departments and keep teams aligned on shared completion goals.

Operating systems and scalable growth

  • Build clear visibility into project status, bottlenecks, team productivity, and operational risks.
  • Use performance data to diagnose problems, establish priorities, and verify that changes produce results.
  • Improve workflows, escalation paths, and team responsibilities as volume and complexity increase.
  • Challenge processes that slow execution and lead the adoption of better ways of working.
  • Translate company growth priorities into practical plans for team capability, capacity, and execution.

Who You Are

You take initiative, make sound decisions, and follow through. When priorities compete, you create clarity. When performance falls short, you address it. When a problem crosses departments, you bring the right people together and drive it to resolution.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on operating judgment. You’re willing to learn the details of the work, ask difficult questions, and get directly involved when needed. You also know how to delegate effectively and develop managers who can sustain performance without relying on your constant intervention.

You bring:

  • A demonstrated record of leading substantial operations teams, including managers or team leads, in a high-volume environment.
  • Measurable success improving project completion, cycle time, productivity, service delivery, or similar operational outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex workflows with multiple teams, dependencies, and competing deadlines.
  • Evidence of building stronger managers, developing future leaders, and improving team accountability.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to turn operational metrics into clear decisions and action.
  • The confidence to make timely decisions with incomplete information, assess tradeoffs, and adjust when new facts emerge.
  • Direct, effective communication and the ability to earn cooperation across functions.
  • A record of taking on broader responsibility and delivering as the scope and complexity of your work increase.

Experience in solar, home services, construction, telecom, utilities, logistics, field services, or another demanding operating environment is valuable. You should be ready to learn Dynamic’s installation workflows and technical dependencies deeply enough to lead effectively.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Faster, more predictable movement from installation initiation through completion.
  • Fewer aging projects, shorter resolution times, and fewer recurring bottlenecks.
  • Strong managers and Project Coordinators who make decisions, own commitments, and consistently deliver.
  • Better alignment between project priorities and field capacity.
  • Reliable performance reporting that leads to timely action.
  • Processes and leadership depth that support greater volume as Dynamic grows.

You’ll establish performance baselines and improvement targets with leadership, then own the plan and execution required to achieve them.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary of $175,000–2000,000
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Leadership development and growth opportunities
  • Direct influence on company-wide operational performance

If you’re ready to take ownership of a complex operation, build exceptional leaders, and deliver measurable results, we’d like to meet you.
