Job Description
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
This position is responsible for the set-up and run of assembly, testing and packaging operations while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and productivity.

SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have a stand-up attendance record, the ability to set up jobs, equipment, and assemble parts per specification. The abilities listed below describe the general nature of the work that will be performed including other duties as assigned.
Additionally, you must be able to:
•Read and interpret blueprints
•Test assemblies
•Pick and wash parts
•Package and/or carton finished product
•Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
•At least 6 months of assembly experience utilizing hand tools and blueprints
Plus:
•At least one year of working in hydraulic and electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment
•Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time and operate machinery and/or lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, bend, stoop, walk or work in high precarious places. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and ability to adjust focus. PPE is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working conditions described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while
performing the principal duties and responsibilities of the job. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area which, under certain conditions, requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. The temperature of the primary work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
