Compliance Operations Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support to the Compliance Department, including support for the Director of Compliance and Vice President of Compliance.

This role helps keep the department organized, timely, and audit-ready by coordinating meetings, preparing materials and PowerPoint presentations, maintaining trackers and calendars, supporting policy workflows, assisting with department and organizational compliance system assignments, monitoring compliance system alerts, reporting, tracking follow-up items, and maintaining organized compliance documentation.

The Compliance Operations Coordinator is a key support role within the department. The position does not independently interpret regulations, approve policies, make compliance determinations, or close corrective action items without direction from compliance leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Education
    • Associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, legal studies, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum Work Experience
    • Two or more years of administrative coordination, executive support, compliance support, legal support, healthcare operations, quality, policy administration, or project coordination experience
  • Required Licenses/Certifications
    • NA
  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, professional presentations, reports, trackers, agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, follow-up items, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, formatting, documentation quality, and follow-through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate questions, risks, or overdue items.
