Job Purpose:
Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities. Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment.Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely
Your tasks:
- Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities.
- Document all work within DHL maintenance system
- Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment (HVAC, Lighting, Plumbing, etc.)
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
- Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems
- Performing maintenance of electrical systems
- Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Stakeholders
- Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures,standards and guidelines
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
- Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
- Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
Your profile:
Education Level
- Vocational or Technical education with FM certification
- Associates degree in technical field a plus
- Experience Level
- More than 2 years in Facility Management with a technical focus.
- Previous experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) system

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Westerville, Ohio.
Job Purpose:
Provide day-to-day Facility Management support with readily available advice for facility management processes and activities. Manage the preparation of routine analysis and updates for financial modeling of FM budget.
Coordinate the activities related to the mailroom, reception area, vendor relationships, and the overall support of assigned facilities.
Your tasks:
- Back up to Facilities Supervisor
- Supervise office services staff; work scheduling, work coordination, coaching and performance evaluation
- Update facility floor plans
- Equipment maintenance
- Security
- Develop and maintain facilities services database
- Maintain and repair facilities/preventative maintenance
- Administrative Assistant support
- Coordinates facilities-related activities on a daily basis
- Coordinates mailroom and receptionist duties
- Submits service requests with established vendors within scope of services.
- Coordinates vendors within scope of established services and order products within established levels.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a professional business environment
- Good attendance record from previous employers
- Some experience with office equipment maintenance and repair
