About the Role:

As a Mixer Trainee in the manufacturing industry, you will be trained to operate and maintain mixing equipment essential for producing high-quality products. This role focuses on learning the precise blending of raw materials according to established formulas and safety standards. You will develop a strong understanding of production processes, quality control measures, and equipment troubleshooting. The position is designed to build your technical expertise and operational efficiency to support continuous manufacturing output. Ultimately, your contribution will ensure consistent product quality and adherence to production schedules within a safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials.
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, sometimes with heavy loads.
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of mixing equipment under supervision.
  • Learn to measure and combine raw materials accurately following production formulas.
  • Monitor mixing processes to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing protocols.

Skills:

The required skills such as attention to detail and basic math are essential for accurately measuring and mixing raw materials to meet product specifications. Safety awareness is critical to operate machinery responsibly and maintain a hazard-free environment. Preferred skills like familiarity with industrial equipment and quality control enhance your ability to troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent product standards.
