The company is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Ground Operations & Facility Manager to work at our Charter Facility in Stuart, Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • This position's core responsibility is to act as the first point of contact for customers arriving or departing our Stuart Charter facility and to ensure a smooth transition for our customers in and out of our internal processes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from arrival through aircraft delivery.
  • Meet inbound and outbound Premier aircraft at the SUA facility, ensuring a professional and seamless arrival and departure experience for all customers and crew.
  • Perform aircraft ground services including lavatory servicing, water service, ice stocking, and cabin provisioning, ensuring aircraft are fully prepared prior to departure.
  • Arrange and manage rental car setup and returns for customers utilizing local contracts with airport rental car agencies.
  • Prepare Premier Aviation and customer aircraft for smooth departure, including positioning of aircraft to the ramp as necessary.
  • Ensure company pilots have all the resources necessary for charter flights that depart from the charter facility.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and flight crews to facilitate efficient aircraft arrivals and departures, communicating status updates and any ground-related needs in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Atlantic Aviation for fueling, towing, and other ground handling services required at SUA.
  • Tow and position aircraft from the ramp area to the maintenance hangars as necessary.
  • Coordinate MRO and FBO activities and work closely with Department Managers to coordinate aircraft positioning and status.
  • Monitor and maintain the facility's ground support equipment (GSE) in accordance with FAA regulations, and escort outside vendors for GSE service calls when necessary.
  • Maintain the facility's crew cars by scheduling proper maintenance intervals, cleaning as necessary, and ensuring proper fuel levels are maintained.
  • Operate ground power units to assist in aircraft starts and operation.
  • Fuel aircraft and perform aircraft marshaling for safe ground operations.
  • Arrange hotel accommodations as necessary for customers and air crews.
  • Provide customers with transport to and from the main airport terminal when required.
  • Oversee and maintain the Premier hangar and office facility at SUA, ensuring the space is organized, presentable, and operationally ready at all times.
  • Maintain aircraft cleanliness and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction and facility pride.
  • During slower operational periods, assist with general hangar and facility upkeep, including sweeping and cleaning hangar floors, organizing and straightening work areas, and supporting Maintenance teams with non-technical tasks as time and operations permit.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to read and write English fluently to meet FAA regulations.
  • 1 or 2 years of line service experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and 10-year background check.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
  • Moderate to heavy physical exertion required to fuel aircraft and handle baggage.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and/or squat repeatedly for aircraft operational hookup.
  • Ability to deice aircraft using high-pressure hoses.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance and meet uniform appearance standards.
  • Strong customer service skills, professional attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

Schedule:

This is a flex-schedule position with hours that vary based on incoming and outgoing flight activity. Candidates must be available and responsive to scheduling changes driven by aircraft arrival and departure needs. Advance notice will be provided when possible; however, the nature of aviation operations requires flexibility and availability across varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
