Position Summary
The Human Resources Officer will monitor employee relations throughout the organization while providing support to the Chief Executive Officer and the company. .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process payroll and timesheets
- Advertise for job openings
- Assist with interviews, recruiting, and new staff orientation
- Review staff training needs and develop or administer trainings as necessary
- Identify and address employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth
- Develop and maintain Human Resources policies and procedures and recommend areas for improvement
- Provide guidance on organization requirements and responsibilities including required compensation and accommodations under the EEOC, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, and other employment, health, or safety statutes and programs
- Attendance at staff and supervisor meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Relevant experience and training that will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position

- Knowledge of labor laws related to training and development
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Observant and proactive
- Excellent administrative and communication skills
- Strong and independent leadership skills
- Strong problem solving skills
