The core responsibilities of this role include: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff. Assign daily tasks and shift schedules to team members. Train new employees and support cross-training efforts. Ensure accurate receiving of goods. Cycle Count, Inventory, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Material Handler, Machine Operator, Cherry Picker

Shift: First (1st) Group Coordinator Lead - Kitting Techician Lead

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $25.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience

  • Lead, Supervisor, Production, Warehouse experience
  • Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.
  • This is a working-lead role. You will work alongside your team while being the initial point of contact for associates.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.
  • The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.
  • A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
  • Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.
  • A MINIMUM of 1 year experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
  • At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Group Coordinator Lead – Kitting Technician Role Profile

Role Purpose:

Responsible for supporting and leading specified group of individuals in the warehouse/clerical setting. Provides daily direction and guidance to the work group. Trains new associates in identified work group. The kitting technician will be required to assemble, inspect, clean, package and kit machined parts and bought-in items necessary for various customized types of kits.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to assemble components and produce quality work, free from errors in a clean room environment.
  • Responsible for area and tool maintenance & cleanliness.
  • Responsible for various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.
  • Responsible for inventory management and control.
  • Knowledge and ability to use tools to assemble parts.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure production goals are met.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
  • Must have 6 months experience in a complex kitting, assembly environment
