Owensville, MO | $16.00 - $18.00 per hour | Full-Time, Day Shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)

At Jahabow, we design and manufacture commercial-grade display fixtures and showcases for some of the nation's largest retailers. As a Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in supporting production by managing material flow, maintaining inventory systems, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure materials are available when needed.

• Review daily shop loads and gather materials for production lines
• Ensure materials are available and delivered according to production schedules
• Communicate material shortages promptly to Plant Managers, Production Scheduling, and Purchasing
• Manage Fastener Kanban inventory systems
• Manage METAL/GLASS Kanban.
• Accurately process material movement transactions in CSI/ERP systems
• Work closely with Scheduling, Production, Purchasing, and Receiving teams to support efficient operations
• Read and interpret shop reports and production documentation
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organized material staging areas
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation
• Complete other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and understand measuring devices
• Ability to read and interpret shop reports
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively across departments and organizational levels

• Previous material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Kanban inventory systems
• Knowledge of CSI or other ERP systems
• Inventory control and production scheduling experience
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience

• Competitive pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, forklifts, moving materials, and production equipment. PPE may be required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
