As a Product Commercialization Program Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and scaling of faster payment initiatives by connecting product strategy with operational readiness. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of payment solutions that meet business, partner, and regulatory expectations.
- Lead commercialization workstreams for faster payment capabilities, from initial strategy through launch and ongoing scale.
- Translate product strategies into actionable launch plans, partner readiness requirements, operating models, governance materials, and adoption initiatives.
- Drive alignment across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and external partner teams.
- Create structure around complex initiatives by defining execution paths, managing dependencies, and removing delivery obstacles.
- Partner with technology teams, processors, networks, and fintech platforms to support integration planning and implementation.
- Define scalable product standards, technical expectations, data requirements, certification needs, and launch readiness criteria.
- Conduct readiness assessments to identify technical, operational, compliance, and partner risks before deployment.
- Develop mitigation plans and help teams transition from one-time launches to repeatable commercialization processes.
- Maintain documentation including product guidelines, procedures, training materials, business cases, and governance resources.
- Prepare executive updates, recommendations, and risk summaries for senior stakeholders and decision-making forums.
- Analyze market trends, partner feedback, and performance metrics to support prioritization and growth decisions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced payments and commercialization professional with strong program management capabilities and a proven ability to deliver complex financial products. You bring strategic thinking, operational discipline, and the ability to influence teams across a highly collaborative environment.
- 8+ years of experience in product commercialization, payments, fintech, banking, embedded finance, operations, program management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience launching, scaling, or operationalizing financial products, payment solutions, or partner-driven programs.
- Strong knowledge of faster payment capabilities such as Visa Direct, Mastercard Send, push-to-card, payouts, or disbursement solutions preferred.
- Understanding of payment ecosystems, including processors, networks, fintech platforms, program managers, and sponsor banking models.
- Experience building product documentation, launch materials, standards, governance frameworks, and business cases.
- Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and lead initiatives through influence rather than direct authority.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives.
- Familiarity with U.S. payments regulations and operational requirements, including privacy considerations, compliance controls, and risk management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate business opportunities, performance metrics, and market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Competitive salary range of $104,000 – $174,000 USD depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
