Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver hardscape and aggregate materials to customers and job sites. This is a full-time, benefited position with a seasonal layoff between December and March each year.
Position Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies:
- Safely operate a Class B vehicle to transport hardscape and aggregate materials to various locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to customers and job sites.
- Ability to operate a moffit for deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving Class B vehicles.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with seasonal Saturdays.
- Seasonal layoff between December and March each year.
- Work involves driving in various weather conditions.
- Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
- Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
