This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager | Payments based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful payment initiatives within a global product environment focused on innovation and customer value.
You will own the strategy and roadmap for payment solutions, helping improve transaction success rates and support sustainable business growth.
The position combines product leadership, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with engineering, finance, analytics, and external partners.
You will play a key role in optimizing payment experiences, reducing revenue loss, and creating scalable solutions that impact millions of users.

Accountabilities

As a Staff Product Manager focused on Payments, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, improving payment performance, and delivering solutions that create measurable business impact.

  • Own and execute the product roadmap for payment integrations and related initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to improve authorization rates, reduce payment failures, and minimize customer churn caused by transaction issues.
  • Partner closely with finance teams, payment providers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Build, communicate, and continuously refine product strategies while gaining alignment across teams.
  • Drive product planning, prioritization, backlog management, and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and monitor OKRs, goals, KPIs, and success metrics to measure product performance.
  • Collaborate with data teams to transform insights into actionable decisions and product improvements.
  • Lead discussions with engineers, analysts, designers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support fraud prevention initiatives and optimize payment processes to improve business outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is a data-driven product leader with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing complex product initiatives in collaborative environments.

  • 2–4 years of experience leading impactful product development initiatives with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong ability to use metrics, data analysis, and insights to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with experience extracting meaningful insights from data.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and make pragmatic decisions in evolving environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, prioritization, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply AI concepts in product development.
  • Strong understanding of AI fundamentals and interest in emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience in payments is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience with advanced data analysis is considered an advantage.
