Facility Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for keeping our commercial/industrial facility operating efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning, heating (HVAC) systems
• Maintain and service air compressors and associated equipment
• Operate and maintain chilled water systems and variable frequency drive (VFD) pumps
• Inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment
• Service and monitor alarm systems (fire, security, and building automation)
• Conduct general grounds maintenance including lawn sprinkler systems, and exterior upkeep
• Perform building upkeep duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance tasks
• Assist with new equipment implementations including electrical/conduit, compressed air, and cooling water line installation
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and work orders
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and environmental requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, chilled water plants, and VFD-controlled pumps
• Experience with fire sprinkler systems and alarm systems is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 3Ph 480V, plumbing, and general building maintenance
• Comfortable with the operation of boom and scissor lifts (certification a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform duties in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Availability for occasional after-hours emergency response
