Position Summary

The Installation Scheduler coordinates all aspects of garage door installation logistics following order confirmation, delivery, and product readiness. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, installation crews, and ordering teams to ensure efficient scheduling, optimal crew utilization, and a consistent, high-quality installation experience.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule garage door installations based on confirmed product availability, technician capacity, geographic routing efficiency, and customer preferences
Coordinate closely with Door Order Specialists to verify installation readiness before scheduling
Communicate installation dates, arrival windows, and customer preparation requirements clearly and proactively
Dispatch installation crews with complete job documentation, including scope details, customer information, and site-specific instructions
Monitor daily installation progress and resolve real-time scheduling conflicts, delays, or field changes
Adjust schedules in response to weather conditions, product availability changes, or customer requests while maintaining utilization targets
Maintain and optimize the master installation calendar to improve routing efficiency and reduce travel time
Track and report key performance metrics such as on-time installation rates, schedule adherence, and reschedule frequency
Support continuous improvement of scheduling workflows to increase throughput and reduce cycle time from order to installation
Responsible for coordinating and rescheduling installation appointments that are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as installer illness or vehicle issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer schedule.

Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or Business preferred
2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or field service coordination
Experience working with scheduling platforms or field service management systems (Service Titan preferred)
Strong customer communication and coordination skills in time-sensitive environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly in dynamic operating conditions
Solid geographic awareness and routing optimization capability
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
