Job Description

Description:

The Benefits Producer will drive sales growth by acquiring new business while managing and nurturing client relationships. What sets this role apart is the expectation to service an existing book of business, maintaining it while simultaneously growing a personal portfolio. As a Benefits Producer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and sustaining meaningful relationships with clients. With a minimum of three years of experience producing Benefits accounts, you will serve as a trusted advisor to insureds navigating even the most challenging insurance markets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to develop new business through market demographics and strategic sales contacts
  • Prospect new clients via phone outreach, leveraging the company database, online resources, and cold calling, with an average of 40 outbound calls per day
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients
  • Assess client needs by reviewing requirements, qualifications, exposures, and risks
  • Collaborate proactively with the Account Manager to market solutions to existing and prospective clients
  • Foster positive, productive employee and client relations
  • Travel within the assigned geographic territory as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Details

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ during training; hybrid/field flexibility available upon completion of training
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical and dental coverage, profit sharing, and 401(k)
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the benefits industry as an Account Executive or Account Manager
  • Active Life & Health (L&H) Insurance License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with AMS 360
