Job Description

Paid Social Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Social Manager based in the United States.

This is a high-impact, performance-driven role at the heart of a fast-scaling consumer sports gaming business.
You will own paid social channels that directly fuel user acquisition and revenue growth across multiple mobile-first platforms.
The role combines analytical rigor with creative strategy, requiring a deep understanding of performance marketing mechanics and audience behavior.
You will build, optimize, and scale campaigns across leading social and mobile advertising platforms while maintaining tight control over CAC and ROAS targets.
A strong emphasis is placed on creative testing, data interpretation, and rapid iteration in a highly competitive acquisition environment.
You will collaborate closely with creative and growth teams to turn insights into high-performing ad concepts.
This is a hands-on ownership role where decisions are fast, data-led, and directly tied to business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and scale paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Reddit, AppLovin, and other emerging acquisition platforms.
  • Own full-funnel campaign lifecycle including setup, optimization, scaling, and sunset decisions based on performance metrics.
  • Allocate and adjust budgets across channels to optimize CAC, ROAS, and user acquisition efficiency.
  • Monitor daily performance and execute real-time optimizations across bidding, targeting, creative, and spend distribution.
  • Lead creative briefing and testing strategy in partnership with design and video teams, ensuring performance-led output.
  • Design structured experimentation frameworks (hook tests, format tests, CTA tests) to drive continuous learning and scaling insights.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards, delivering clear reporting on CAC, ROAS, and key acquisition metrics.
  • Interpret attribution data across MMPs and platforms to ensure accurate performance measurement and decision-making.
  • Identify performance trends and optimization opportunities before they impact growth outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in paid social acquisition, with direct ownership of major platforms such as Meta Ads Manager.
  • Proven track record of scaling paid campaigns with strong efficiency metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV understanding).
  • Deep fluency in performance marketing mechanics, including algorithm behavior, targeting strategies, and creative optimization.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app marketing and attribution models, including experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer or similar tools.
  • Ability to analyze performance data independently and make fast, informed optimization decisions.
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to brief, evaluate, and iterate on high-performing ad concepts.
  • High level of autonomy, with a bias toward ownership, execution, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong passion for sports and familiarity with sports culture; interest in fantasy sports or real-money gaming is a strong plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and campaign performance.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $100,000–$135,000 annually (based on experience and skill level)
  • Potential equity participation in the company
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan options
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Remote-first working environment (U.S.-based eligibility applies)
  • Annual company retreats and team offsites
  • Work-from-home stipend
  • Performance-driven culture with team-wide incentive games and cash prizes
  • Opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing sports gaming and fantasy entertainment platform.
