The Substitute Floor Sales Worker (FSW) plays a critical role in maintaining seamless retail operations by providing flexible and reliable support across various store departments. The Substitute FSW is responsible for engaging with customers, assisting with product inquiries, and facilitating smooth sales transactions. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety and loss prevention procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Assist in maintaining the sales floor by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring displays are attractive and orderly.
- Operate cash registers and handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support inventory management by receiving shipments, verifying stock, and reporting discrepancies.
- Adapt to various departmental needs as required, including assisting with promotions, special events, and store opening or closing procedures.
