Sales Assistant in Joliet, Illinois at Pipe Manufacturing Company

We are a pre-insulated piping manufacturing company seeking immediate employment for a Sales Assistant in our Sales Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist National Sales Manager as liaison between independent sales representatives and company
• Perform pricing, freight estimates, quotations and order processing
• Maintain accurate sales records
• Accurate file maintenance
• Follow-Up on sales quotations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
• GXD (AS400) knowledge preferred
• Detail oriented with the flexibility to adapt to a variety of work situations and interruptions and organize work for appropriate and timely completion
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong prioritization and organization skills
