This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Forensic Analyst based in India.
The Senior Forensic Analyst will conduct complex digital forensic investigations and support incident response activities across enterprise environments. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can quickly assess technical situations, investigate security incidents, and deliver actionable findings with minimal onboarding. You will work across multiple operating systems and cloud environments, applying your expertise to uncover evidence and support effective incident resolution. The position requires broad technical knowledge spanning Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud platforms, including AWS. You will contribute to investigations involving diverse enterprise systems and help strengthen organizations’ understanding of security incidents. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering remote work flexibility across India, with a preference for candidates available to work in a hybrid arrangement in Hyderabad.
Digital Forensic Investigations: Conduct complex digital forensic investigations within enterprise environments, identifying, collecting, and analyzing relevant digital evidence.
Incident Response Support: Apply forensic expertise to support incident response consulting engagements, helping investigate security events and establish their scope and impact.
Cross-Platform Analysis: Investigate systems across multiple operating systems and architectures, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Cloud Forensics: Perform forensic investigations involving cloud environments, including AWS, to help identify relevant evidence and understand potential security incidents.
Enterprise Investigations: Analyze complex technical scenarios across enterprise infrastructure, adapting investigative approaches to different systems and environments.
Technical Assessment and Analysis: Use established forensic methodologies and technical expertise to investigate incidents, interpret findings, and support evidence-based conclusions.
Independent Delivery: Take ownership of assigned investigations, work with minimal ramp-up time, and contribute effectively to ongoing consulting engagements.
Demonstrated experience in corporate digital forensics, incident response, or security consulting.
Proven experience conducting forensic investigations in enterprise environments.
Practical experience handling complex investigations independently, with the ability to contribute from the outset.
Broad technical knowledge across multiple operating systems and cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Windows investigations and at least several of the following areas: cloud forensics, AWS, Linux, and macOS.
Ability to investigate across multiple platforms and architectures rather than relying on expertise in a single environment.
Strong analytical thinking, technical troubleshooting, and investigative problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical evidence and communicate findings clearly in a professional consulting environment.
Adaptability and sound judgment when working with complex systems and evolving investigative requirements.
Work Arrangement: Fully remote, with candidates able to work from anywhere in India. A hybrid arrangement in Hyderabad is preferred.
Employment Type: Full-time contract position.
Contract Duration: 6 months.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour workday from Monday to Friday.
