Harmony is hiring an AI Solutions Intern for the winter and spring semesters. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in artificial intelligence, process optimization and operational efficiency. What You Will Do:

• Partner with teams across the organization to identify challenges, explore AI solutions, and improve business processes.
• Evaluate workflows and recommend AI-driven improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Research, test, and implement AI tools and automation technologies to support operational excellence.
• Analyze data, create dashboards, and develop visualizations that drive informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with employees to gather requirements, pilot new technologies, and measure results.
• Document processes, create training materials, and help teams adopt new AI-powered solutions.
• Communicate directly with machine operators and team members to collect data and support process improvements.
• Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Stay current on emerging AI technologies, manufacturing trends, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer/Information Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
• Have an interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
• Excellent people skills that include effective communication, teamwork, and active listening.
• Work independently by achieving goals with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills using root cause analysis.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Results driven – ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiar with Python, SQL, Power BI, process mapping, workflow analysis, or lean manufacturing concepts.
