Product Manager - Gesto de Identidade

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - Gestão de Identidade based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic product initiatives focused on identity management, authentication, and authorization experiences.
The professional will be responsible for connecting customer needs, business objectives, security requirements, and market demands to create impactful solutions.
The position operates at the intersection of product strategy, technology, data, and user experience, influencing journeys used by a large customer base.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, cybersecurity, risk, fraud prevention, and compliance teams.
The role requires strong ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to transform complex challenges into scalable product improvements.
As part of an agile and collaborative environment, you will help shape secure, efficient, and customer-centered digital experiences.

Accountabilities:

The Product Manager will lead the strategy, evolution, and execution of identity management products, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, business goals, security requirements, and technical capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the product vision and defining strategic objectives based on customer needs, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading product strategy and roadmap development for identity, authentication, and authorization solutions.
  • Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, transforming complex initiatives into incremental, valuable deliveries.
  • Breaking down large projects into structured solutions while considering technical dependencies, operational impact, and regulatory risks.
  • Creating and maintaining product documentation, including epics, acceptance criteria, business rules, and technical validations.
  • Working closely with engineering, design, and data teams to define secure, scalable, and traceable solutions.
  • Coordinating relationships with external suppliers and managing multiple data sources to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensuring effective communication across business areas regarding product changes, improvements, and operational impacts.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity, fraud prevention, risk, and compliance teams to ensure secure product evolution.
  • Defining, monitoring, and analyzing product metrics to support data-driven decisions.
  • Continuously exploring improvements, testing new approaches, and promoting innovation within the product ecosystem.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a product professional with experience managing digital products, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience working with account authentication and authorization contexts.
  • Experience managing digital products and translating customer needs into actionable product strategies.
  • Ability to convert complex requirements into structured plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of product metrics, data analysis, and decision-making based on evidence.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies, such as Design Thinking.
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with different audiences.
  • Experience working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong ownership mindset, organization, and ability to manage priorities in dynamic environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fintech environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Product management training or certifications.
  • Experience building and scaling digital products in high-growth environments.
