The Data & AI Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and evolving enterprise-scale data and AI architectures while ensuring scalability, security, governance, and alignment with business objectives.

• Design and evolve enterprise data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and lakehouse platforms.
• Build AI-ready data ecosystems supporting analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation use cases.
• Architect cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Azure services for scalable data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and technical guidelines for enterprise data platforms.
• Design AI architectures supporting machine learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, vector search, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and LLM-based applications.
• Collaborate with data science teams to develop AI-powered solutions and decision automation workflows.
• Architect modern data engineering solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Define scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data integration patterns, and optimized data models for structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure platform performance, reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Implement data governance practices covering metadata management, data lineage, master data management, quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Promote responsible AI practices, including explainability, ethical AI implementation, and model risk management.
• Act as a technical advisor for enterprise data and AI initiatives, guiding teams on architecture decisions and implementation approaches.
• Mentor engineering, architecture, and data teams while promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies, develop proof-of-concepts, and contribute to long-term technology strategy.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in enterprise data architecture, cloud platforms, and AI solution design, combined with excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native data and AI solutions, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and modern enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing AI-ready architectures supporting machine learning and generative AI workloads.
• Strong understanding of MLOps and LLMOps practices, including tools and frameworks such as MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, LangChain, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks such as CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar orchestration technologies.
• Knowledge of APIs, event-driven architecture, master data management, and cloud-native application design.
• Experience implementing data governance, AI governance, responsible AI practices, and compliance-focused architectures.
• Ability to mentor technical teams, influence architecture decisions, and drive enterprise standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, Data Mesh, or domain-driven data architectures is a plus.
• Cloud or AI certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent credentials are an advantage.
