Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong foundation in product ownership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to drive product execution from concept to delivery. You will own specific product areas within our platform, conduct market research to identify opportunities, and shape feature requirements for Product Engineers. You will be responsible for user acceptance testing, timeline management, and ensuring deliverables meet business objectives. You will partner with engineering teams while holding them accountable to project milestones and quality standards. As a growing fintech company, we are looking for a candidate who can think strategically about product opportunities, execute tactically on feature delivery, and who thrives in a data-driven environment.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of product areas
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting business metrics and user data
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and identifying product opportunities
  • Proven ability to write detailed requirements documentation and manage project timelines
  • Experience with user acceptance testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and progress reporting
  • Experience with fintech, financial services, or lending products preferred
  • Knowledge of SBA lending processes and small business finance is a significant plus
  • Familiarity with product management tools and data analytics platforms

Description & Responsibilities

  • Own and drive product strategy for assigned platform areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive market and competitive research to identify feature opportunities and industry best practices
  • Develop product requirements for engineers, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and business justification
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with engineering leadership
  • Lead user acceptance testing processes to ensure features meet quality standards and business requirements
  • Hold Product Engineers accountable to delivery milestones, quality commitments, and project specifications
  • Analyze business metrics and user data to measure product performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure product features support business operations
  • Provide regular progress reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
  • Stay current with lending industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
  • Support customer research initiatives and gather feedback to inform product roadmap decisions
