This role is designed for a creative leader who thrives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and social media performance. You will shape high-impact creative across multiple client accounts, ensuring content is not only visually strong but also optimized for engagement across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will influence creative strategy while remaining hands-on in execution when needed. The role blends leadership and craft, requiring someone who can mentor designers, elevate creative standards, and contribute directly to campaign development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including strategy, account management, paid media, and production. Provide creative leadership across multiple client accounts by guiding concepts, reviewing design and motion outputs, and ensuring alignment with platform best practices, audience behavior, and business objectives.
- Oversee and elevate the quality of all creative deliverables, ensuring consistency, performance focus, and strong visual storytelling across social platforms.
- Remain hands-on in design and execution when required, contributing static, motion, and campaign assets across digital channels.
- Mentor and coach designers of varying experience levels, providing structured feedback and fostering creative growth and confidence.
- Help define and improve creative systems, workflows, and standards to increase efficiency and raise output quality across teams.
- Partner with strategy and account teams to translate insights into compelling creative concepts, campaign ideas, and content frameworks.
- Stay ahead of social media, design, and AI-driven creative trends to continuously evolve the agency’s creative approach.
- Contribute to pitches, proposals, and new business efforts by showcasing creative vision and capabilities.
6+ years of professional design experience with at least 2+ years in a creative leadership, mentorship, or art direction capacity.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative work across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Agency experience strongly preferred, ideally with exposure to fast-paced, multi-client environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and modern design tools.
- Strong understanding of motion design, short-form video, and content optimized for digital platforms.
- Deep knowledge of social media behavior, content performance drivers, and platform-specific best practices.
- Ability to balance creative excellence with performance and business outcomes.
- Strong storytelling, conceptual thinking, and visual communication skills, including typography, layout, color, and composition.
- Experience presenting creative work to senior marketing stakeholders and influencing decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor designers and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and emerging design technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
