Technical Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project Manager based in the United States.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead complex technology initiatives that drive operational excellence and business success across cross-functional teams. In this remote role, you will oversee projects throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder alignment, and high-quality outcomes. You will collaborate with technology, operations, analytics, and leadership teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans. Accountabilities:
  • Lead technology projects through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, ownership, success metrics, and resource coordination.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and align execution with business priorities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve issues to keep initiatives on track.
  • Facilitate clear communication between technical and business teams while providing regular project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Standardize project management processes, documentation, reporting practices, and governance across initiatives.
  • Support change management efforts, project retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities to enhance future project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of project or program management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated success coordinating cross-functional technology and business initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) are considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Experience leading distributed or remote teams and previous healthcare industry experience are highly valued.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Candidates residing in New York are not eligible for this position.
