We're seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to support safety and environmental initiatives at our Clinton, Wisconsin facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing positive change, and spending time where the work happens. You'll partner closely with employees, supervisors, and leaders to strengthen our safety culture while helping create practical solutions that improve safety performance across the plant.

The ideal candidate has prior EHS responsibility within a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working around CNC machining equipment, cranes, rigging, and other heavy industrial operations. Just as importantly, you'll be able to connect with a wide range of personalities throughout the organization and lead through influence, trust, and servant leadership.

What You'll Own

• Safety culture development and continuous improvement initiatives across the Clinton facility
• Incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
• Safety audits, observations, and regulatory compliance activities
• Employee safety training and awareness programs
• Workers' compensation, return-to-work, and emergency response processes
• Safety performance metrics, reporting, and improvement projects

Success in this role means helping create a workplace where employees actively participate in safety, hazards are addressed proactively, and everyone is committed to sending their coworkers home injury-free each day.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a strong and consistent presence on the shop floor, reinforcing safe behaviors and coaching away at-risk practices
• Facilitate engaging safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and leaders
• Partner with employees and supervisors to identify hazards and implement practical solutions
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions through completion
• Conduct safety audits, observations, and regulatory compliance assessments
• Support environmental compliance efforts, emergency response activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of safety or EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting CNC machining, metalworking, fabrication, forging, heavy manufacturing, or similar industrial operations preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation techniques, safety auditing, training delivery, and workers' compensation processes
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels
• A hands-on, servant-leader approach with a passion for coaching, teaching, and improving workplace safety

Compensation

The estimated base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually.

The estimated pay range is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual base pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and business needs.
