HOUSEKEEPING AIDE – Full-Time – Albany Care

Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Aide.

Monday - Friday 8-hour shift, 7am-3pm - with one weekend day required every other weekend.

Responsibilities of the Full Time Housekeeping Aide:

• Dust, wash and disinfect as directed all rooms, halls, bathrooms, fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls
• Clean and disinfect water fountains, sinks, mirrors and glass panels in doors and partitions
• Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.
• Replenish supply of soap and towels
• Keep cleaning supplies organized

of the Full Time Housekeeping Aide:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare facility is a plus
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties
• Personable with residents, families and a team-player with staff in a professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
