Application Engineer in Orlando, Florida at Gas Turbine Efficiency LLC

The Application Engineer evaluates customer technical requirements and develops engineered solutions, technical proposals, and commercial quotations for process systems, rotating equipment, and other engineered-to-order products. Serving as technical lead during the proposal phase, this role bridges customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Project Management) to deliver solutions that are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• 2+ years of Application Engineering, Process Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related experience
• Experience with engineered-to-order equipment, technical proposals, and cost estimating
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in power generation, oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, or related industries preferred
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software a plus

• Requires the ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and periodically lifting or moving materials. Periodic travel is required to support customer meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
