Our people are located across the globe. They succeed by collaborating as a team and thrive in our company culture defined by these core values:
Challenging Fun
ONE Team
Customer Centric
Candid and Caring
Aim High

As a Senior Professional Services Consultant, you will leverage your consultative expertise to work directly with our customers to design and deliver Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management solutions that make their data reliable and usable. You will own complex engagements end-to-end, solving hard challenges independently and mentoring others along the way. You'll also help shape how our platform grows, bringing real-world customer insight back into the product roadmap.
Your Challenge
  • Work with customers and partners to design, implement, roll-out, audit, and improve Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management solutions that leverage the Ataccama platform for our customers' business benefits.

  • Own complex, high-visibility engagements end-to-end, taking full accountability for solution design, delivery, and customer outcomes.

  • Interact with customers' data governance, data management, engineering, and business teams to translate their requirements into smart solution designs and provide them with expert consulting around the Ataccama platform.

  • Prepare solution sketches, technical and architecture designs, technical specifications, and agile prototypes, as well as provide training and onboarding to Ataccama customers and partners.

  • Mentor junior consultants, sharing project experience and helping shape their approach to customer engagements.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers and as a subject matter expert, initiating strategic conversations rather than simply responding to them.

  • Contribute to making our software even better by sharing experiences from real-life projects with our product managers and developers, and help shape the product roadmap based on field insight.

  • Configure Ataccama solutions, integrate them into customer applications and data management landscapes, test, document, and tune them to meet customer performance and functional requirements.

  • Lead escalations and resolve complex, ambiguous customer challenges with minimal oversight.

Is This You?
  • Are passionate about data management and AI-driven innovation

  • Have deep, hands-on experience across diverse software technologies and data processing environments, with strong command of Data Quality tooling

  • Have several years in customer-facing or consulting roles (technical consultant, software consultant/architect, services presales) and have owned complex engagements independently

  • A go-getter who drives outcomes without waiting to be told — and who others look to for direction

  • Enjoy diving in, solving ambiguous problems, and helping customers achieve business goals at scale

  • Have superb organizational skills and can manage multiple concurrent, high-complexity engagements

  • Are proactive, self-driven, and comfortable owning the hardest challenges in the room

  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills to navigate negotiations and conflicting demands across business, software, risk, and legal topics

  • Can translate deep technical knowledge into clear guidance for business audiences and for less experienced colleagues

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, and willing to travel occasionally

Your Must Have Skills
  • Extensive, recent hands-on experience across one or more data management disciplines: Data Quality, Data Management, Digital Transformation Software, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Databases, ETL, Data Migrations, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Lakes, Big Data, or Cloud Ecosystems

  • Practical experience applying AI tools and concepts in real projects

  • Advanced hands-on data management and relational database skills, with advanced-level SQL

  • Solid experience with XML, SOAP/REST/JSON

  • Solid experience with Python or other programming languages

  • Demonstrated experience leading full project lifecycles with minimal oversight

  • Experience with team or project leadership, including mentoring junior team members

  • Deep hands-on experience in enterprise DQ, MDM, or Data Governance tools, particularly in complex, multi-system environments

Bonus Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Digital Transformation topics

  • Experience working for a software vendor or product company

  • Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Life Sciences

  • Exposure to Hadoop/Spark or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Familiarity with SDLC, code management, and upgrades

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux

  • Exposure to Spark, NoSQL, XSLT, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks

At Ataccama, our core values are Candid & Caring, so we are upfront about our process and details that are important to you. We sometimes use AI tools to help us with things like reviewing applications, taking notes from screening conversations, scheduling interviews, or supporting assessments. These tools make the process smoother and fairer — but don’t worry, they never make the final decision. Every hiring decision is made by our Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers, with AI only acting as a helpful assistant. We believe technology should support the process, not replace the human touch. We currently use AI-assisted tools - Metaview for interview notes and Lever Talent Fit to help highlight key experience.

The OTE base & bonus range for this full-time role is $110,000–$130,000 CAD. Your exact offer depends on the scope of the role, your experience, and the skills you bring. Base salary is just one part of your compensation & wellbeing package- you will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus, flexible time off, health benefits, an equity grant, and many other perks.
