- Plan and deliver engaging live online Consumer Math lessons covering topics such as budgeting, personal finance, taxes, credit, and financial decision-making for high school students.
- Adapt teaching methods and digital learning tools to create an interactive, inclusive, and supportive virtual classroom that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Monitor student progress through assignments, assessments, and ongoing evaluations while providing timely, constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Develop and communicate structured lesson plans, course schedules, assessment timelines, and learning objectives to ensure a well-organized educational experience.
- Create high-quality educational resources, including homework, quizzes, tests, and examinations that support curriculum objectives and student success.
- Maintain an organized online classroom using learning management systems, ensuring students have easy access to course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching resources and best practices within the online learning community.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of high school (Grades 9–12) classroom teaching experience in a school environment; tutoring experience alone does not meet this requirement.
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Math concepts and familiarity with US high school curriculum standards and related assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience using online teaching platforms and confidence integrating educational technology into live instruction.
- Strong classroom management, organization, lesson planning, and assessment design skills in a virtual learning environment.
- A recognized teaching qualification, teaching license, or postgraduate teaching credential is preferred.
- Previous online teaching experience is considered a strong advantage.
