Technical Project / Program Manager - Enterprise Imaging

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project / Program Manager - Enterprise Imaging based in Spain.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale healthcare technology initiatives that improve clinical workflows and patient care through advanced imaging solutions.
As a Technical Project / Program Manager, you will oversee complex enterprise implementations involving imaging platforms, integrations, and AI-enabled technologies.
You will coordinate technical teams, healthcare stakeholders, and vendors to deliver successful project outcomes from planning through go-live and stabilization.
The position combines healthcare IT expertise, program leadership, stakeholder management, and technology transformation.
You will play a key role in driving innovation within enterprise imaging environments while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead complex healthcare IT projects and programs focused on enterprise imaging platforms and related technology initiatives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and operational groups.
  • Manage implementation activities including testing, deployment preparation, cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Support AI and machine learning initiatives designed to improve imaging workflows, automation, and clinical operations.
  • Partner with healthcare, technical, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated imaging solutions.
  • Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective communication between project teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress and provide clear updates on milestones, challenges, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar leadership role within healthcare IT.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
  • Experience with enterprise imaging solutions such as Epic Radiant, Sectra, PACS, RIS, AI/ML imaging platforms, or comparable systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT implementation methodologies and end-to-end project delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, clinical users, executives, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing timelines, risks, budgets, and dependencies.
  • Experience supporting large healthcare systems or enterprise-scale technology transformations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7 is a plus.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
