Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on with Beckhoff hardware and software through training, testing, and real-world troubleshooting.
- Shadow and support engineers on customer visits, gaining insight into technical service and client interaction.
- Tackle customer technology challenges through research and guided troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with fellow interns and teammates to create innovative projects using Beckhoff products.
- Present your learnings and accomplishments to peers and senior managers at the conclusion of your internship.

What We’re Looking For – Required Skills & Qualifications
- Have or pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field from a four-year college or technical school.
- An eagerness to learn about automation hardware and software.
- Basic level of programming proficiency in one or more languages.
- Experience with hands on mechanical or electrical project(s).
- Self-starter with a result driven personality.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to maintain focus and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
Work Location
This position is based on-site at our Beckhoff Automation USA Headquarters in Savage, MN. Regular in-person attendance is required to support team collaboration and business operations.
Travel
This position requires varying travel ranging from 0-5% which may include day trips, overnight stays, and occasional extended travel depending on business needs. Travel may be local, regional, or national. All travel-related expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
