This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Loan Officer - Private Lending (Fix & Flip, DSCR, New Construction) based in the United States.
This fully remote role focuses on originating business-purpose real estate loans for experienced investors and repeat borrowers.
You’ll manage qualified inbound and warm opportunities across bridge, fix & flip, DSCR, ground-up construction, portfolio, and multifamily lending.
The role combines consultative sales, deal analysis, relationship management, and end-to-end pipeline ownership.
You’ll help investors evaluate financing options and structure solutions aligned with their projects and business objectives.
Strong collaboration with processing and underwriting teams will be essential to moving qualified transactions efficiently toward closing.
The environment is technology-driven and increasingly AI-enabled, with tools designed to streamline workflows and improve decision-making.

- Convert qualified inbound and warm investor opportunities into funded loans while maintaining strong follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
- Speak with real estate investors regarding bridge, fix & flip, DSCR, construction, portfolio, and multifamily financing opportunities.
- Review loan scenarios, financial information, project economics, and borrower circumstances to assess potential fit.
- Recommend and structure appropriate financing solutions based on the transaction, investment strategy, and borrower objectives.
- Own the loan pipeline from the initial conversation through closing, ensuring consistent communication and timely progression.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with repeat borrowers, investors, brokers, agents, contractors, and other referral partners.
- Follow up with prospects and existing borrowers through phone, email, and text to maintain momentum and maximize conversion.
- Partner closely with processing and underwriting teams to provide accurate information and move qualified transactions toward closing.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records within the CRM and follow established systems, processes, compliance requirements, and risk-management practices.
- Leverage AI tools and technology to improve productivity, automate routine work, strengthen communication, and enhance decision-making.
- Experience with a private lender, hard-money lender, investor-focused lending platform, or comparable environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience in non-QM, wholesale, commercial, or conventional mortgage origination may also be relevant.
- Demonstrated production track record, supported by measurable results such as loan volume, units originated, conversion rates, or borrower retention.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex real estate transactions, financing structures, and deal economics.
- Consultative sales skills and the ability to communicate credibly with experienced real estate investors and other industry professionals.
- Competitive, results-oriented approach with the discipline to maintain consistent activity, follow-through, and pipeline momentum.
- Strong communication and professional relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong computer and CRM proficiency, with the ability to learn and consistently follow technology-enabled workflows.
- Coachable mindset and willingness to adopt established systems, processes, and sales methodologies.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, technology-driven environment.
- Active or previously held NMLS licensing is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools is preferred, with a willingness to incorporate AI-assisted workflows into everyday work.
