Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair issues with manufacturing equipment or products during the production process.
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Inspect revenue service vehicles when operational issues occur, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report findings and corrective actions to the Manager.
  • Perform FMI (Field Modification Instruction) work as assigned, complete all required modification activities, and report the work results and completion status to the Manager.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
  • Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
  • Manage and transport raw materials or finished products within the facility.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or a similar technical role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or Industrial Maintenance.

Specialized Skill Requirements:

  • Expertise in operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery used in the production of railroad components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for precise manufacturing.
  • Experience with tools and techniques for inspecting and testing materials or finished products to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in manufacturing equipment or processes efficiently
