Job Description

Growth & Proposal Operations Specialist

mPower is looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented Growth & Proposal Operations Specialist to support our business development, capture, proposal, and marketing efforts. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the growth lifecycle. You might spend part of your day researching a new opportunity, updating our capture pipeline, coordinating proposal inputs, editing content, developing a presentation, or improving a proposal graphic or template. We're looking for someone who brings a solid professional foundation and is ready to take ownership, work across functions, and quickly learn new subject matter and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support capture and business development, including opportunity and market research, pipeline management, capture materials, NDAs, teaming requests, partner coordination, and action tracking.

  • Research and maintain opportunity intelligence using GovWin, SAM.gov, and other sources, and keep our capture pipeline accurate and current.

  • Coordinate proposal development and production, including schedules, contributor inputs, compliance, editing, formatting, reviews, graphics, and final submission.

  • Draft, edit, and polish proposal, marketing, and business development content.

  • Create and refine proposal graphics and reusable templates, including cover pages, callout boxes, organizational charts, process graphics, resumes, and past performance materials.

  • Develop and improve PowerPoint presentations, capability statements, one-pagers, and other customer- and partner-facing materials.

  • Maintain organized libraries of proposal content, graphics, templates, and company qualifications.

  • Track deadlines, commitments, and open actions—and help ensure things get finished.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in proposals, business development, capture, marketing, communications, project coordination, or a related role.

  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, contributors, and deadlines while maintaining quality and follow-through.

  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with Excel.

  • Good visual judgment and the ability to create clear, polished documents and presentations.

  • Initiative and the ability to research, problem-solve, and make progress when given an unfamiliar assignment.

  • Clear, professional communication skills and comfort working across different functions.

  • Experience with government contracting, federal proposals, GovWin, SAM.gov, CRM/capture systems, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools is preferred.
