This is an in office position.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

  • You will will install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, peripherals, and protocols.
  • You will investigate hardware problems and performs system hardware and communication connection repairs.
  • You will assist in the installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, peripherals, and protocols.
  • You will perform diagnostic testing.
  • You will respond to inquiries and requests for assistance within the organization's computer systems.
  • You will identify problems, troubleshoots and provides advice to assist users, coordinates with other IT areas to resolve problems as necessary.
  • You will ensure technology resources are operational and available for use by supported organizational programs and departments. Some project management as needed.

  • You can manage your desk and other tasks simultaneously as you have good project management skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Requires Associates/two-year degree in IT or related field or three years of experience in computer operations, basic networking and telecommunication support, or providing technical computer support to users.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Certifications in A+, Network+, and/or MCSE are desirable but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English desired but not required.
