FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Logistics/Warehouse

Reports To: Logistics Manager

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the logistics department. This role involves managing the flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records to support the efficient operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Prepare and generate reports on logistics performance and metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for logistics activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or a related role.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
